Frontline Therapy Network: is a psychotherapy referral network where a licensed psychotherapist conducts a clinical interview to determine the ideal treatment approach for Veterans, first responders and frontline medical personnel. The Battle Within covers costs to undergo treatment with a therapist who can provide the treatment they require based on their individual needs. Frontline Therapy offers up to 10 free sessions and works to match clients with therapists who accept their insurance so treatment can continue beyond the sessions funded by The Battle Within. The

Dogs 4 Valor Training Program (D4V) is a comprehensive service dog training initiative that harnesses the healing power of canine companionship to support those who have served. Allowing participants to train their dogs, D4V helps create a deep, transformative bond that turns ordinary pets into certified service dogs. The program goes beyond addressing PTSD, mobility challenges, and companionship needs—it is specifically designed to combat the isolation many participants face. Working closely with their dogs empowers individuals to break free from isolation, reconnect with others, and prepare for further The Battle Within program offerings, fostering a renewed sense of community and purpose.

Trauma-Informed Workshops for commands and departments are a unique one-day experience that revolves around therapeutic processes in an intentional group setting. The focus is on grief, moral injury, and post-traumatic growth. Throughout the day, facilitators guide participants through activities that promote healing and connection. Participants will explore how hidden wounds arise when their values are in conflict with what they’ve witnessed or experienced—especially in service roles. At the end of the day, we want participants to walk away with a lived experience that demonstrates how intentional connections can foster ongoing opportunities for healing.
